         Our most needed items are:

          

GRAINS:  Look for grains that are whole grain or 100% whole wheat. Ideally these items will list whole grains or whole wheat as the first ingredient on the ingredient list.

– Whole grain pasta

– Whole grain/high fiber cereal

– Brown rice

– Quinoa

– Oatmeal

FRUITS AND VEGETABLES:  Opt for fruit canned in its own juice/no sugar added and vegetables with low sodium/no salt added.

– Canned fruits/vegetables

– Fruit cups

– 100% fruit juice

– 100% vegetable juice

PROTEIN:  Aim for low sodium/no salt added options.

– Canned chicken or fish

– Peanut butter

– Canned beans

– Canned chili or stew

·Cash donations in any amount

·Gift cards in any amount for Target, Wal-Mart, Tractor Supply, Kroger, Publix, Food Lion (you get the idea - anywhere dog/cat food is sold)

·Small to large bags of dry dog food, unopened or opened

·Small to large bags of dry cat food, unopened or opened

·Canned cat food, unopened

·Canned dog food, unopened

·Cat treats, unopened or opened

·Dog biscuits or treats, unopened or opened

·Small to large bags or containers of cat litter, unopened or opened

·Boxes of Ziploc sandwich bags to hold dog and cat treats

·Boxes of 1-2 gallon Ziploc brand bags

·Collars, leashes, old towels, bleach, laundry detergent, Frontline (any items frequently used by shelters/rescue groups)
